ืึดึผืฆึฐืจืึนืจ ืึถืึถื ืึฐึผืึทืจึฐืึตึผืึธื ืึตึผื ื ืึนืชึตื ืึดืึฐืกึดืื ืึธึผืืึนื: This morning (1/10/22), in our Morning Mishlei shiur, we began a new pasuk as a continuation of the sugya we started last week. This pasuk appears to be a simple analogy about giving honor to a ksil. The more we analyzed it, the more uncertain we were about the nuances of the analogy and the parameters of the idea. We ended up developing a few approaches, including an idea from Saadia Gaon who translates the pasuk in a completely different way. Tomorrow (ืื"ื) the plan is to learn through a bunch of other meforshim.
