Mishlei 20:27 - Man's Soul is Hashem's Lamp (Part 2)

נֵר י״י נִשְׁמַת אָדָם חֹפֵשׂ כׇּל חַדְרֵי בָטֶן: This morning (10/14/21) we continued our analysis of yesterday's pasuk, beginning with a review of what we said. We then attempted to understand the pasuk according to the second - and more difficult - reading, according to which Hashem "uses" the soul of man as a lamp to search out the chambers of the belly. We encountered several approaches and gleaned some insights, but ultimately agreed that what we said yesterday was a more satisfying explanation.
