Mishlei 10:17 - Guarding Mussar vs. Abandoning Tochachah

In our Monday Night Mishlei shiur (3/1/21 with Lomdeha, hosted by YBT) we faced another formidable pasuk, with many possible readings. Our discussions in shiur are often unpredictable. This time, instead of trying out many approaches that were clearly demarcated, we ended up proceeding seemlessly from one approach to the other without even realizing it. We attempted to summarize our three main approaches in the end, which I hope made things clearer!
