Mishlei 11:1 - Hashem Hates Deceitful Scales

מֹאזְנֵי מִרְמָה תּוֹעֲבַת י״י וְאֶבֶן שְׁלֵמָה רְצוֹנוֹ: This evening (10/25/21), in our Monday Night Mishlei Shiur, we learned a pasuk which came preloaded with a unique set of challenges. Not only is this pasuk a repition of what the Torah already says, but Shlomo HIMSELF essentially repeats this pasuk twice more in Sefer Mishlei (20:10 and 20:23). It was a challenge for me to approach this with fresh eyes, after having given shiurim on both those pesukim AND on the Torah's use of the term toeivah last year, so I had to count on the people in the shiur to find the ideas. Thankfully, they did! We got four interpretations of the pasuk from the participants along with two from the meforshim.
